A Certificate of Status, also known as a Certificate of Good Standing, Certificate of Existence, or Certificate of Facts, is a document often required in day-to-day business operations. It confirms that a Corporation or LLC is authorized to do business in the state and has met all state requirements. This document serves as official evidence of an entity’s existence and provides a statement of its status, legal name, and legal formation. It bears the official seal of the Secretary of State.
